The new year is here (wow, that was a FAST 2022!) and February fun is on deck! I know how busy this time of year is when you’re jumping back into the routine at home and school, doing those mid year report cards and trying to plan out your second semester. Today on the blog I am rounding up my favorite February classroom activities. Check them out below!

President’s Day
George Washington
Presidents Day is a big topic in February and I have a few resources to help make it easy to add into your curriculum! This unit has everything from timelines, graphic organizers to text based question practice. Both a digital and print unit is included in this resource.
Abraham Lincoln
My Lincoln resource is very similar to the George Washington one, it is jam packed full of reading, ELA and social studies content on the life and work of Abraham Lincoln. Both a digital and print unit is included in this resource. If you’d like both George Washing and Abraham Lincoln resources, there is a money saving bundle for you too!
The Human Heart
The Heart
What goes better with February and Valentines Day than hearts right? This resource includes everything you need to teach your upper elementary students about the human heart and circulation. Graphics, vocabulary practice/posters, informational texts and heart games and activities are all included in this perfect February science based unit!
The Circulatory System
For older elementary students, extend your learning of the human heart to the circulatory system. This unit includes 10 days of complete lesson plans and engaging activities. Another science unit perfect for the month of February!
Print and Go Worksheets
February Print and Go
My very favorite and easy to use products are my monthly themed units! If you need a taste of all the fun things in a certain month for your classroom, these resources are the way to go! This one includes a few activities for every major holiday or theme in February including Groundhogs Day, Valentines, football (think Super Bowl!) and President’s Day. Perfect to add a few activities into your week all month long!
Valentine’s Day Print and Go
Are you looking for just some fun Valentines themed and curriculum based worksheets for February? You’ve come to the right place then; I’ve got just what you need! Almost 50 pages of easy to use, just print and go material for both math and reading/ELA. I even included a text passage about the history of the holiday in this resource!
Valentine’s Boom Cards
I have a handful of math Valentines themed boom cards for 2nd-4th grade. As of now I have 6 different Valentines Day decks, but I am always creating and adding more decks to my store so be sure you follow me on Teachers Pay Teachers AND on social media!

Those are my favorites for February! I hope you find something new you can use in your classroom! I love rounding up these monthly favorites for you, so you don’t have to go looking for what would work. Let me know in the comments if you use any other resources from my store during February!
