
Are you looking for activities for Earth Day for elementary students? As students get into the elementary grades, you want your Earth Day activities to be meaningful. Discussions around natural resources, pollution, conservation, and plants that cover your science and social studies standards are a perfect tie to Earth Day.
Here are some of my favorite Earth Day worksheets and science units to use around the big day!
Earthโs Natural Resources



This unit includes an Informational fact book and lessons help students identify natural resources (living, nonliving, renewable, and nonrenewable), learn how natural resources are used, how to conserve natural resources, identify renewable and nonrenewable energy sources, environmental cause and effect of natural resources, and research more about natural resources. Humans Impact on the Environment



In this unit students will learn how humans affect the environment in both positive and negative ways. Dive into various topics including types of pollution, reforestation, renewable/ nonrenewable resources, and environmental technologies. Learn more about this unit here.
Plants Class Activities

April Print and Go Class Activities




Iโm throwing this unit in the blog post because it has Earth Day specific activities as well as things to use all month long! It includes worksheets for Arbor Day, Easter and April Fools Day! Its definitely a bang for your buck, AND all the pages require no prep! Check it out here!
